A Halloween tribute to the goddess of Witches, Magic and the Dead - Hekate - was written as an individual track for fun.
However, the response was overwhelming and people asked for it to be featured on "In the Lair of the Bear Mother."

The song revolves around a whimsical wish concerning the "Thunder of Hellas", LadyAxe's current muse, Themis Tolis.

The chant is in Afrikaans, recited by three young ladies in South Africa who jokingly refer to themselves as LadyAxe's "coven".
